The teenage years are difficult for most people, and teens and their parents can benefit from reading this book. Thank you for your review.

I like that the issues discussed in this book included bullying and body confidence. Teenagers have a hard life fitting in at this particular stage in their lives. Naturally, some got bullied in schools or/and in their neighborhoods. Then, of course, having issues with the changes in their bodies make them more aware about so many other things.

The book Cruising through the Teens, easier than it seems is instrumental in handling change on a personal level without giving in to outside distractions like body change and trying to compromise personal values to fit in social groups. For any willing teenager, shaping life at a such young age would help avoid riskier conditions later in life and actually create a dream life easily. If I had read the book as a teenager, I'm sure to have laid more solid plans as now evident after coming across it. Congrats :tiphat: for such an informative review.

I don’t enjoy having to do heavy thinking when I read so this is probably not for me.

I like these encouraging suggestions that I read about in the sample of the book:
Get rid of your constant inner chatter and the negative internal dialogue. Take time to just simply breathe. There is a perfect and joyful being within you. Be confident. You need a good sense of humor. Live in the present moment. It was also helpful to read your thorough book review. Well done!

This book can be very helpful to teens out there. However as an adult, raising my own teenager there are a few points I have to disagree with.

I’ve navigated the teen years four times. I thought I had gotten pretty good at it but inevitably I think I must have missed a step. With that said, I respect the authors insights and the reviewers insight, but I honestly don’t want to go through those teen years again. My world can’t handle the triggers that are inside the pages right now. One day I will choose to read it.

This is the first time I'm coming across a book that deals with this topic. So I'm curious to know what the book has to offer.

Is it wrong that I never was a "teenager trying to fit in with a particular crowd"? Don't get me wrong, I am not introvert, but somehow I grow up with friends who were kids of my parents' friends. We went together in kindergarten, school and even college and learned to get along and like each other much better than some outsiders. Apologies, but the book doesn't appeal to my taste and thereby I prefer to pass it. Still, congrats on BOTD!

This book is very relatable, especially for me who watched others cruising through the teens. It would have been nice to read this book when I was a teen even when I know it'll need more than reading to be quite social. This review has been nicely written and encouraging for teens who may be having issues in their social lives. I feel there'll would be discussions on the common shyness and anxiety many experience in our lives. Congratulations on BOTD!

This is a very insightful book and definitely worth a read to parents with children as well. Not all parents always understands what their children might be going through and this book is the eye opener. There is a lot of research that went into this book and I am definitely keeping it close as my toddler is growing up more quickly than I want :). Well done on an amazing and helpful book and congrats on #BOTD! The review is also excellently written.

Finally, a book for teenagers without vampires and other 'mythical beasts' that people turn into when they grow up. This review is comprehensive.

Teen era stage is a very slippery time in a sense that when they do not have good and strong foundation teenagers will be misled because they want to fit in . As the writer has already said earlier " due to societal pressure, many teenagers believe that social media is unavoidable" and so the book could be just the one teens need to help them out. That makes it great review.
