Thanks for the insightful review on the book. One thing I quickly got from this book was how it highlights the importance of family. From what the author shares, it seems like he had some pretty good role models in his parents, Aunt, Granny, and friends of the family. I liked the lessons noted at the end of each chapter. It is unfortunate if the book was not professionally edited, as this would probably increase the appeal to a wider audience.

My time in corporate America has come to an end, so this isn't a topic that interests me. However, I read the first few chapters and the author has a genuine, captivating style. I believe this is a worthwhile read for those still looking to better themselves in their careers. Congrats on BOTD.

Breaking the Mold sounds like a niche book which I wouldn't find useful or entertaining but it sounds like the right reader would find a wealth of useful information to help their business. Thank you for the great review.

LOL every Latin mother's best weapon is a chancla. I don't care much about the topic but I enjoyed your review and the barcodes seem like a very business-appropriate idea.

I'm not fond of reading self help books, but kudos to the author for a job well done. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

Breaking the Mold by Fabian Videla is a book laden with knowledge on starting and running a business. The step by step guide on starting a construction business is what I like most. Great book!

Although the review states the positives of this self-help book, even going as far as awarding a demerit for the errors, I still fail to see where this book is unique compared to other self-help books.

This self-help book offers personal stories, lessons learned, and detailed pragmatic advice that can help you start and grow a business. However, it is oriented toward the construction industry. I find it ideal for those seeking advice to succeed in business.

You get really amazing self-help and motivation books that can help others reaching their goals and dreams. This sample was great to read as it involved personal stories, lessons learned and how to work around or over obstacles. I think this book can help a lot of people, even if you aren't in the corporate surroundings. You just have to keep an open mind! Well done on #BOTD and an honest review.

II don’t really like self-help books so I won't be reading this. It does pay to stick with it until success is achieved.

I love self-help books. I love books that talk about business, and I can't wait to pick this. I want to know how his business was able to survive the lockdown. Fabian should be a motivation for every business person. Great review.

This sounds like a great book for professionals and entrepreneurs. I'll have to pass on it though because I don't read nonfiction.

This book is good for readers who simply wish for lessons of success in business and might also find this book not just useful but a gateway to understand the business world either again or loose in the game. Indeed those who want to start their business must understand that it is all about Risk and that is what the writer has elaborated in the story. I love the story. :techie-studyinggray:

This master piece by Fabian Videla is very good for a person who wishes to invest in creating a business in the construction industry. I have clearly learned how to bounce back when hit by external shocks following the fall of a business.

This self help book focuses on success in a business sense. Fabian Videla uses his life as an example of what it takes to go from a garlic bulb salesman to owning a multimillion dollar corporation. The actionable steps provided is what I find the most appealing in this book. Congrats on the BOTD!
