I agree with the author that not all Muslims hate the US. This book highlights that America is defined by a state of mind, not by ethnicity, religion, or skin color. It serves as an inspiration for new immigrants to embrace and express their perspectives.

Ali Master's candidness regarding his challenges stood out to me, especially as the book delved into the notion of freedom. Its examination of overarching themes like resolve and triumphing over obstacles resonated deeply.

I would rate this book five out of five stars because it deserves it. Each one of us has a dream of living in a world full of freedom, and where every citizen has equal rights. In most of our third-world countries, most things are decided by the leaders elected, and power remains within some specific ethnic groups. Resources are not also equally distributed, which is very opposite from America. It is a land worth admiration. Even though I am not sure whether racism has been fully eradicated, I feel that it is at an appropriate level compared to other countries.

"Beyond the Golden Door" by Ali Masters was a book that appeared to be intriguing. Ali Masters' world-building was commendable. The settings were vividly described, allowing readers to visualize the various locales where the story unfolded. Despite finishing it, I did however struggled to stay engaged throughout most of the narrative as there were long stretches where the plot seemed to be more so stagnate. The premise of the book promised an intriguing adventure! Great insight and read!

There has been a lot of interesting topics and very realistic discussions in this book and in the forum. So far I haven't encountered something this is odd so it's a five star for me.

I would give it a 5 out of 5 stars rating. Although it was not completely relatable, I found the author's experiences interesting and intriguing. I wanted to learn more as I read and never come across a memoir like this before, making it something unique for me.

For me this book Is definitely a 5 out of 5 stars. It pictures the American Dream from a Pakistani point of view. Ali's notions about cowboys and Texas was quite hilarious.
