Which games you used to play when you were a kid?

Yes! Very fun! We also played parcheesi quite a bit as a family.

Not exactly a game, but we did a lot of jigsaw puzzles.

outside, immies /marbles, stick ball, Ringolevio, hide and seek...

Didja have a good humor truck come, and /or the Jelly Apple man ?...( he also dunked marshmallows )

We had an ice cream man, Smilin Suzie came around. He had popcicles, Dixie cups, fudgesicles, etc.

We played hide and seek, marbles. a game in the snow called fox and geese, and one called Annie Over where you threw a ball over a house. I never could see much point to that one.

We used to throw a football over the house just to see if the guys on the other side could catch it and if you had a good enough arm to get it over. We also played 500 with a baseball. Kill the guy. Kick the can, (especially good at night). Flashlight tag. So many cool games with the neighborhood kids.

I remember 500. We used to play that. We used to play the card game Authors. It was like rummy but you had to match up authors and their books.

Wasn't it such a great game? We played ding, dong, ditch once, but it was stupid. I used to throw a ball against the side of the school to practice my pitching when younger. We also played a form of squash against the school with a tennis ball and tennis racquets. That was really fun!

I had a huge collection of board games. I loved them, but it was hard to find people to play them with me. I was the Clue champion to the point that people refused to play that one ever because I would always win.

OH , indoors " Tiddly Winks " ( my father always played that game w/ me ) if you had missing chips, you could always substitute w/ buttons........

Years later it was my grandson's fave game...

Of course! I could never get it to walk down the stairs smoothly though! And we played Tiddlywinks a lot. I got pretty good at launching the chips!

The one I had worked pretty good. I never played tiddily winks much, but there was Ring Toss where you tried to throw rings over a stick.
