Then it was John Grisham and Patricia Cornwell. I still read both of them but Grisham has stayed mostly good whereas Cornwell, not so much.
But most of all I would have to say it is Michael Connelly. I love his Harry Bosch series and his Mickey Haller series. I can go off reading all types of other books but when Connelly has a new one out, reading it is like going home to an old friend.
