Thanks for a lovely review! This book sounds like it will encourage readers to think about what it means to be human. When done well, I’m always up for a good philosophical read!

Traumatically triggered self-awareness and emotional mimicry?.. Perhaps these ARE the droids I’m looking for! Truly helpful review, thanks.

With the political flavor to this one, I’m not sure it’s for me. Andre seems to be up against a lot of turmoil in this one. Can artificial intelligence take the place of humans? That’s the question that seems to be the theme of this one.

This sounds like a good sci-fi book about artificial intelligence and emotions. I like that he started out with a family and progressed to bigger things.

The idea of a self-aware robot is fascinating. I can’t help wonder if it’s possible, and what would it say about the soul? If that’s what distinguishes humans from animals -- or robots -- how could we explain a robot that develops consciousness? Sounds like a good read. Thanks for the review, Scerakor.

I love this advanced technological book. The robot, André's, Features which was initially designed to be a household android that was capable of menial work and advanced task makes the book intriguing.

This isn't a book I would be interested in, but for those who like science fiction involving robots, then this is for you! I love how it incorporates what it means to be human. Congrats on the book of the day! Great review!

This is an amazing journey of the development of self awareness and how a droid becomes for all intensive purposes a person. The character of Andre is amazing and the author captures the changes he goes through as he develops. You can not help but grow attached to him as he grows intellectually and emotionally. The dialogue is extremely well done capturing what is happening and highlighting the differences between him and those around him. This story also deals with prejudices humans have and how our emotions affect our judgements. This is a book that makes you think and.not only tells a story but stimulates the reader to think out the realities of the human condition. It is a great book.

This sounds like a witty book. I enjoyed the sample, but I think I’ll pass. It hits too close to home for hypothetical enjoyment.

An amazing science fiction story in the book "André's Reboot" by Steve Coleman, which focuses on André, a household android, who is capable of doing the advanced tasks around the house. Accidentally, he becomes self-aware and learns to mimic and experience human-like emotions. The story appears to be very interesting.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

This is a great review. I don't think I would be swayed not to read this book because of the mocking of current USA president but maybe because the overall plotline of the book is not appealing to me.

A wonderful and we'll analysed review there. I love the fact that this is a science-fiction story. Personally, I follow through such articles, movies, stories etc. André's story is amazing and we'll thought of. To begin with, the author has a suspenseful kick off. André is vibrating uncontrollably. I mean this is an attention arrestor. He wants to combat the impending danger of nuclear war. He's not designed for this. Congrats on being BOTD.

I've never read a story about a robot. André is an interesting character. I can't wait to get to know him and his story better.
