Unlike the narration of the audiobook, your review was animated and a true pleasure to read.
And I like that the author didn't fall into the easy trope of "love at first sight" but took the time to develop a more realistic romance.
Thank you!

I really like action packed thrillers. This sounds like it fits that bill. It's nice when a book from a series can stand alone. I will have to add this one to my to read list. Thanks for the great review.

A captivating thriller does good for me!
And to think the plot has a lot to do with espionage and military secrets.. Great review!

I also like that their friendship didn't head for a relationship in the first instance. This will be a nice read. Lovely review!

This seems like an interesting and action packed book. I appreciate the fact that it can be read as a standalone even though it's part of a series. I'm fascinated with the plot and I can't wait to read this book. Wonderful review!

"The Kahler Files #5 -- Maxwell's Silver Hammer" by Eric Safflind - An exciting, very well written espionage thriller. The opening lines are riveting and it promises to be a page-turner. The review was excellent. Thanks.

The standalone confirmation was a big plus! I enjoyed your description of the development of the relationship between Barry and Alexandra. The author was spot-on with the conflict between Iran and Israel. Thanks for the exciting recommendation! Great review.

“Rescued damsels are supposed to be grateful, but Alexandra Blake is not your typical damsel.” This sparked my interest, and now I'm so curious to know her kind of damsel.

I’m quite reluctant of this because I’m not much of an audiobook lover. However, the plot sounds intriguing as well as the realistic pace of romance between the two characters.

When things happen, the search for the perpetrator should begin from the inside. Who breached the United States secret weapon and who's after Alexandra or Barry?
