On the other hand, I read A Flicker in the Dark by Stacy Willingham. I didn't hate the book, but I didn't really like it either. I predicted the twist early on, and I just wasn't a big fan of the story. The writing style wasn't bad though, so I tried her book All the Dangerous Things because the story sounded intriguing. I really enjoyed this book. The twists were a lot more unpredictable, the story made you wonder what's real and what's not throughout, and it was overall more suspenseful. This story just seemed better executed in my opinion, but since I enjoyed this one, I'd be willing to try more of her books.
