I love plots that intertwine dialogue between characters.Based on your review , the dialogue in Not What meets the eye is organic and humorous which is a plus to anyone who wants to read this book. This genre is not my kind but I will for sure recommend it to other readers. Congratulations for BOTD selection.

I have never been a fan of archeological-related adventure narratives but through the brief description of this book, I can tell that I should give it a chance. I will gladly look forward to continuing Antosha's tale. To the reviewer kudos, a job well done.

I am not adventurous by nature, therefore this book is definitely not my cup of tea. I am more sedate and peaceful, so all this running and searching is way too much action and stress, even just reading about it. No offence, I prefer to skip the book, but congrats with BOTD anyway!

I particularly enjoyed the interactions between Nathious and Anthosha. A lot of them were cheeky and humorous.
A 700-page book needs humor. Although your review unearthed my curiousity, the number of pages buried it again. Thank you all the same.

Reading about Archaeologists does not just give you the thrill of adventure, it also comes with a wealth of knowledge. What can I learn from the Archaeologist, Scarlett? What adventure is there in her past that came back to haunt her? Interesting review.

I feel for such people in the case of having a tragic past that is coming back to haunt one is another whole trauma, a delima into one's life. However l am curious of next action and if Antosha was able to overcome it. Great review.

The author's ability to evoke fond memories of the thrilling atmosphere from the "Mummy" movie is a testament to their skill in creating an engaging narrative. Incorporating elements that resonate with readers from popular movies can be a great way to draw them into the story and make it more enjoyable

There's this excitement I have when I'm about to read adventurous books. What makes it this thrilling for me is that I don't know what would happen next. The setting of the book is always different. So I can't predict well what would happen next. I hope I feel this way in this book, Not What Meets The Eye. Good review.

Lengthy books tire me out. When I finish them, I feel like a weight has been lifted off me. However, there are few which I've read that didn't feel this way because I was too engrossed in what happened next to notice. It seems Not What Meets The Eye is like this–engrossing. Nice review.
