Sounds like an exciting read! I usually don't mind graphic violence in books, just movies, so I'll give it a shot.

A story that has a fast pace and excellent descriptions, good balance between external actions and psychological actions. But as you say in the review, there are scenes that are too much for a sensitive reader like me. Thank you very much for your good review.

Thanks for the interesting review. It certainly warned me of the nature of the content that this book is not for me as much as it is well written as the review promised. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

The plot is really intriguing. I might like this book. Although action is not one of my favorite genres, its blurb has got me hooked. Great job on the review :)

This sounds like an exciting book, and I'm curious to find out if I'll be able to root for a crime family, even if the protagonist is a decorated military hero. It's a little contrary to impulse, but we'll see how the beginning of the book goes.

This sounds like a must read for action thriller fans. This should be made into a movie.

I like the fact that it is a series, that way we can read more of such interesting characters.

Wow, this is an interesting military suspense thriller. The addition of family ties is also intriguing. I wonder how our hero would be able to surpass this dilemma.Thank you for writing a very honest review!

I have just started reading this book. I agree with the reviewer, it is like watching an action packed movie, and it is not for the faint of heart. Good review!

Great review. I am only partway through this book and finding it really fast paced and full of action, also plenty of blood and guts, so if you don't like that then stear clear. I love it! 8)

This is a book right up my alley. I love political thrillers. Just finished End Game by David Baldacci, and this book goes up next. Great review, enjoyed reading it.

Amazing action thriller that keeps you reading just a little bit more throughout the book. I rated the book 4 out of 4 stars. Congrats #BOTD
