Seems like quite a heavy book. I will TBR it for when I might need to remind myself that my life could be worse. Thank you for the review.

"A Frame For Flowers" by Sean Storin is an interesting story about Katie and her struggle for survival after she was diagnosed of cancer. This book was an emotional one for me.

Katie seems to have had a very challenging life. I usually don't like stories with a lot of flashbacks, as it often makes it difficult to follow the story, but this one seems like something I might want to read. It seems as if you grew quite fond of Katie, and that makes me want to meet her, too.

Thank you for the lovely review!

Indeed unstable story which l pray it will end a happy one for Katie suffering from cancer at a young age to be free from that sickness and Frank Bruno with his arrogance and rigidity which l Know is unacceptable in all societies will turn a new leaf. I love to read more.

A frame for flowers is a fiction novel about the life of Katie Kelley. The story is mostly told from Katie’s point of view and chronicles her life in an abusive relationship. Thanks for your review.

This sounds like an emotional story on her journey through life, with many struggles from a young age. If I'm in the mood to cry, I'll consider reading this one!

The story about the struggle of a lone dying woman is bound to be saddening. Thanks for the review.

The book emphasises Katie's endearing tale. It would be intriguing to learn how she handled two significant challenges in her life. Nice review.

Although the book sounds interesting based on your great review I don't like to read about abusive relationships.

Katie already had a sad life living in an abusive relationship with someone who initially was warm and sweet. At 37, she found out that she had cancer. The writer give us the backstory using flashbacks in a very understandable way.

Not sure yet regarding this book. On the one hand, I like everything about it: cover, title and storyline, but on the other hand my mother also "lost both of her parents by the age of 18" and even though she doesn't like remember it, there were enough tales shared understanding how hard her life become afterwards. Still, congratulations on BOTD!
