This seems like a mystical novel. The review may not have painted the real picture of its content. Reading it personally will be better. Anyway, thanks for this.

It is a book that talks about Georganne an interior designer and her business partner, Tom. It is a book about murder, little romance, crime and lots more. It is definitely an interesting book to read, I for one would not miss an opportunity to see the plot twist within it's pages. Congrats on botd.

This mystery takes place in New Orleans. The world building is in depth and the characters are unique. It doesn't particularly strike my interest but it sounds well-written.

Thanks for such a thorough review. I've often found novels that switch between the viewpoints of various characters to be distracting, so I'm not surprised to find the same issue here. I'm glad to hear that it didn't take away from the story too much.
I'm also intrigued by the idea of having LGBT+ themes woven into the story, as usually I find that it's either the main focus of the story, or wholly absent.

This book seems like an interesting blend of several genres from supernatural to romance. Thanks for the recommendation.

This story doesn't sound like something I'd want to read. I might enjoy a supernatural fiction but the murder, profanity, and romance isn't what I like reading.

Great review! It captures everything an interested reader would want to know. Your commentary on the pacing is quite useful as well.

I do enjoy fictions set in New Orleans, especially those that delve into the supernatural. From the onset of the sample, I was intrigued by the premise and seeing where the characters evolve.

A fast-paced and well-built characters sounds appealing for the fact that it seasons the story conveyed, thus gripping the readers attention. Unfortunately, I don't enjoy supernatural fiction. I'm afraid I will skip the book.

I'm curious as to whether the book has more of a paranormal feel or if the mystery aspect overshadows that. I love reading paranormal fare, but crime/mysteries not so much. I'll have to look over the book a bit more before I can commit to reading it. I enjoyed reading your review!

Interesting, intriguing and mysterious - this book sounds like something right up my alley! I confess that I don't care all that much about LGBT- themed material, for me most important part is a story and this one has everything to become excellent read. Thanks for recommendation!

I'm drawn to supernatural fiction, but not one with profanity and sexual content. This will make an interesting read anyway. Congrats on BOTD!

This book sounds like it has a creepy, almost-gothic feel; the Deep South is a great venue for these types of book. I may give this one a look. Thanks for the review, ViziVoir. :techie-studyingbrown:

I am grateful you included in the review the elements of the story that may be offensive to some readers. I try not to read any book with witches involved; and, I don't care for profanity and sexual situations, especially if the narrative is explicit in them. The storyline sounds great, but I will pass. A lot of errors takes the enjoyment out of the read for me. I just finished a book with multiple errors, so I'm not ready for another one! Your review is excellent!

Though I'm not a great fan of supernatural fiction but this one proves to be worth reading. Apart from the author's deep mastery of the south, the review demonstrates a precocious writing ability that is both pretty charming and attractive. I'm definitely going to read 'Minor Arcana by Jerry'. :techie-reference: :techie-reference: :techie-studyinggray:
