I like the style format where the author is able to give insight of other people's point of view and any other event that might be taking place simultaneously. This adventure ridden life of Galen, for sure, is going to be an interesting one. Thank you for giving such a detailed review!

I have read this book too and I was a bit underwhelmed. This certainly feels like a book one in longer series with so many unanswerered questions. This s a great and informative review. Good job.

Having read this book before, I can attest to the fact that it was indeed gratifying reading about Lord Meldorath, King Wilhelm, and Galen Bray. Thanks for the insightful review.

Wonderful review! The level of detail the author goes into, using the map, diaries and journals, makes the novel more appealing. Dialogue is important to me as well, and this author seems to have done a good job making it believable and natural.

Though I'm not typically interested in sci-fi/ fantasy, I do often enjoy books of other genres that have good character and plot development. It sounds, from your review, that this book has both. So, I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the review.

I really liked the book. As you mentioned, something that I really appreciated was the order and structure of it. As a presentation of a new world and its rules, this is very nice. The author has talent in his world-building technique. Thanks for your review.

The book is amazing! I'm currently on the third book from the series, and I must say because of this book I'm now a fan of the fantasy genre. It's action packed, there's suspense and the characters are so well developed. Great review!

I have also read and reviewed this book myself. It is a great fantasy with a different plot to many other fantasies which are available. The whole geography and situation in Voulhire is realistic with enough fantasy to make it different and the character's are memorable and always interesting. I look forward to reading the next book in the series as well. I enjoyed and agree with your review.
