This sounds very heart warming and inspiring. It's important to note that Gregory Hebert chose not to live in self pity but to be positive at his situation.thanks for the review

I can definitely relate to the author because of his experience, although for me it was a very minor accident. I think the book has a lot of potential of helping other people in similar situations. Congrats!

My first thought while reading this review and a few pages from the book itself is that I’m about to consume a touching and revealing story. I know how hard it is for a person to live with a disability, having to put his life on indefinite pause due to an inexplicable illness and never be the same person again, managing situations he never imagined going through and dealing with the uncertainty of the future.
Though this path is harsh for sure to whoever has to live with it, it’s also true that a great way of facing it is someone’s attitude, and I’m pretty sure our author found out his boost in hip-hop, as Bruno lets us know.
I do stand for more content talking of cases like the author’s because just reading and knowing about them is how we’re gonna get conscious of how blessed we are for the health we take for granted and how helpful it can be that we are properly informed by respect.
A reading with an important message to deliver :techie-studyingbrown:

The part that is well concerned about in this story was his diagnosis. Did he recover from it all?

This sounds like an inspiring story. This man seems to have overcome some serious hardships. I do not like how the story ends abruptly. Being a short book, the author could have added a bit more to make it end smoothly.
