Young love, heartbreak, paranormal activities. This is looking like a nice read. I hope there is something extra in it which separates it from all the other books of the same genre.

Good review. The introduction to the book looks great, and the plot seems promising of great adventures amongst friends discovering themselves. Too bad the middle of the book was not as exciting as the introduction.

I was never a fan of the genre and am a way too down-to-earth kind of person to believe in any paranormal occurrences, though ironically I did enjoyed watching X-files)) Unfortunately, Dave's troubles failed to draw my interest, and so I will have to skip this book, but congrats with BOTD, anyway!

This insightful review of "Sentinel of the Light: Awakening" offers an unbiased assessment of the novel's merits and shortcomings. The critic praises the enthralling prologue, emphasizing the first suspense and expectation. They do, however, raise worries about the story's dwindling components of fascination and the protracted buildup. Although the examination of friendship, trust, and paranormal themes is acknowledged, the mingling of parapsychology and magic is identified as a potential source of confusion.

The reviewer likes the book's satisfying plot, well-formatted structure, and Philadelphia setting. They applaud the author's efforts while recommending changes such as increasing tension, improving character development, and correcting faults in phrase and word construction. The choice to remove stars based on these factors indicates a fair assessment.

The novel also tackles themes such as trust, self-discovery, deceit, a tumultuous father-son relationship, emotional trauma, gullibility, and the paranormal, which alludes to magic and fantasy.

This is the story of a young medical student who is battling pneumonia. A disease that is so little talked about. Sounds like a really intriguing read, I must read it! Thanks for your review, it was really interesting to read and it intrigued me!

I was excited about the book as I first began to read your review but that changed towards the end. I’m guessing the book didn’t play out the way you expected. Thank you for a great honest review.

An interesting start to the book with a major health scare and seemingly near-death experience. The choice of death, light or darkness is a concept I hope is explored later in the book. I'm interested to find out more about Dave’s paranormal powers as well.

This novel seems to have good potential to stand out of the many existing stories centred around the paranormal. The topic of parapsychology seems interesting.

'Official Review: Sentinel Of The Light' by Dennis W. Rhoades unfolds the main parts of the science fiction book for readers. It thoroughly examines the story for enthusiastic readers. The point that the storyline delves into the life of Dave, a young medical student is worth mentioning in the review. Furthermore, Dave becomes aware of various paranormal occurrences around and within him. Also, as mentioned in the review, the book explores the significance of friendship, exemplified through the relationships between Spud and Dave, and later Anna. It was great to learn that the novel also tackles themes such as trust, self-discovery, deceit, a tumultuous father-son relationship, emotional trauma, gullibility, and the paranormal, which speaks of magic and fantasy!

This is a great story plot, centering on Dave and his quest to make sense of the condition he finds himself, having to deal with paranormal occurrences. Your description of the plot piqued my interest. However, I doubt its ability to give interesting reading experience due to errors you mentioned it contained. Congrats on BOTD.

Searching for answers, Spud, a friend of Dave, reaches out to Anna, who has also had paranormal experiences. This leads to an introduction to Professor Hamilton, who immediately notices Dave's paranormal abilities.
