This is sci-fi, not that far from reality. People's lives can change a lot knowing their future. It is a thought-provoking book, beyond the tense plot.
Book allow you to fully explore a topic and immerse yourself in a deeper way than most media today. Mark Zuckerberg.

Great review! I don't really know how I feel about the watch concept. In a way, it is a good thing, and in a way, it's a bad concept. I'll have to sit and think about this one.

The book's concept is intriguing and, at the same time, thought-provoking. I am envisioning my reaction and course of action after discovering my last days based on the device's prediction. I am going to delve into this book. Thank you for your great analysis.

While not a fast-paced thriller, the interwoven narratives and the ticking clock motif of the VT2 watch create a sense of urgency and anticipation. Readers become invested in the characters' journeys, eager to see how they choose to spend their remaining time.

Nice review! I’ve seen the “plot device that predicts one’s lifespan” trope before, but this is quite a creative take on it. While it’s clever to use said trope to talk about such a controversial topic as gun ownership, I would just hope it was utilized well to its fullest potential in a story like this. There is definitely plenty to consider and be explored.

The idea of inventing a watch that can predict the final days of a human's life is fantastic. Imagine if we had such a device; people would surely live more meaningful lives each day. It seems like a great book that gives us a lot to think about.

"Final Notice" by Van Fleisher is a gripping and intense thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The story follows Dan Morgan, a young lawyer who receives a mysterious warning that his life is in danger. As Dan delves deeper into the mystery, he uncovers a complex web of deceit and corruption that threatens to destroy everything he holds dear.

I'm really intrigued by the core concept of a device that can predict when someone will die of natural causes. As noted in the review, this opens up intresting philosophical and ethical debates around how people might choose to live out their final days armed with that foreknowledge.
