Thank you for your great review. While I feel very fortunate in having found great doctors for my mom, myself, and my son, one can always learn more. I'm glad I read your review and will add this to my list of books to read.

This is a very informative healthcare guide put together by Regis. "If you feel rushed and unheard, then find another PCP," is just my mantra. Kudos to the author for her honesty.

First of all, I commend the author for writing about her experience with cancer. I especially love that the book gives patients or the general public tips to get better health care. I like that she encourages patient satisfaction in health care. I have had this issue with doctors not taking their time to examine and ask more questions yet just throw in a medication. It irritates. I love this book already. Can't wait to read it.

This is great information and a good perspective on a healthcare system. Not only in the USA but everywhere else or to anyone facing an illness. The amount of information that the reviewer states is going to be very helpful, to say the least. A great review looking forward to reading it.

I like that this one touches on the roles of different healthcare providers and the importance of family practice physicians in the long-term wellness of aging patients. Thank you for providing such a thorough review! 🩺

I'm not one who'd buy a healthcare book but honestly, it's time I stop ignoring my health. This looks to be an informative read.

So, I'm the type of person who doesn't know that much about medical health. I barely know anything. So, I think that maybe this book can be a decent guide for me. Looking forward to it.

"Surviving the Business of Healthcare" by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C - The author is passionate about providing information about healthcare, based on her own experience of the industry and the bad fortune to develop amelanotic nodular melanoma. Her writing is easy to assimilate, it is spiked with stories of her and various family members' experience as doctors. Thanks for an excellent review.

I like that the author advices to find a primary health adviser that listens to you and meets your requirements in a doctor patient setting. I think the book is very empowering to help people with their healthcare needs. Thanks for a great review.

I never used to think about "shopping" for a doctor. Your review is great and I will definitely be using information in this book.

This seems to be an insightful and highly informative read. Regis has firsthand experiences as a family practitioner and cancer patient, making her a wealth of knowledge. I agree this is a necessary read. Congratulations on the BOTD.

This book definitely sounds like it's very informative, but I'm not an avid reader of non-fiction so I don't think that this book will be a good fit for me. So I'm going to pass on reading it.

This book interested me immediately because my husband was a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon. He died at age forty from melanoma. I’m interested in seeing how healthcare has changed through the author’s experience.
