I must confess that just like the movies, the plot of this book sounds so interesting and captivating, and I would love to read it. Nice review, congrats on BOTD.

Today’s book seems to explore the challenges of transitioning into new roles. It also revives interest in Arthurian legends and epic poetry. Congratulations on Book of the Day!

I don't read many epic poems, but I'm looking forward to checking out this second installation of the Camelot Chronicles.

Today's BOTD is the sequel to The Aftermath of the King in the Camelot Chronicles. Readers who enjoy storylines inspired by Arthurian legends, as well as epic poems with well-developed characters, engaging themes, and life lessons do not want to miss this one! Thanks for the awesome review! :-)

This does sound like a well-written book, but I don't think it fits into what I'm interested in at the moment. Also, I don't like starting books in the middle of a series. Maybe later I will be more willing to dive into this type of medieval book!

A satisfying ending is good to hear. I hope the book has an audio version though so that readers who might find it difficult to keep up with the length may just listen.

I have always been a fan of everything related to Camelot. I love the idea behind what happens after King Arthur as we often focus only on him and forget about everyone else. This will definitely be added to my reading list.

I surrender when I read that the book includes figurative style like simile and metaphor because I am not good at that. Aside from that, the recommendation doesn't fit me so I will say, I skip. Thanks for your beautiful review and congratulations to the author on BOTD!

Very well done review! I, also, have always enjoyed Camelot and the Arthurian legend, and have read quite a number of books and series about them....also watched movies and TV series. However, I just do not enjoy reading poetry for any reason, so I will have to pass on this rendition of the legends. Kudos to the author for attaining BOTD honors!

I have always found stories interesting when they are constructed with prose. They stand out and are easy to remember; the BOTD is sure to be a memorable read. Good review.

"The Lion of Camelot" by Robert Murray is the sequel to "The Aftermath of the King". Whether King Arthur is fiction or a true legend I love these types of stories. This book tracks Queen Guinevere leading the knights to defeat Zorgar and when they find that Arthur's grandson is one of the knights, he becomes Camelot's king. When questions of his legitimacy arise, he leaves his castle to find out what people actually think of him. He also wants to obtain the legendary sword, Excalibur. The book will challenge reader's vocabularies and the story is an epic poem that is a continuation from the first volume. I am adding this book to my-To-Read shelf. Very good review.

A story in a poem? Now that sounds very engaging. It would be a novel experience to read this book. I would like to read about this historical storyline in a poem. Good review.

I’m wondering how author had a grandson? I didn’t realise he even had a son. Perhaps my questions are answered in the book. Nice story.
