Your review is very interesting and thorough! I've started listening to the audio version of this book on Audible, and I agree with all your comments. I also noticed that the book centers on the up-start and incumbent businesses. It does feel like a perfect read !

The review of "Launchpad Republic" by Howard Wolk and John Landry is glowing with praise for its insightful exploration of entrepreneurial dynamics in America. His appreciation for the authors' storytelling, thorough research, and comparative analysis with other countries adds credibility to the book's value for entrepreneurs and those interested in economic and political landscapes. A highly recommended read for its educational and informative content.

I love economics but I don't really love politics, so I guess, this will not be the book for me. Thanks for the detailed review!

Considering the path I'm on, I'd love to read the book Launchpad Republic: America's Entrepreneurial Edge and Why It Matters by Howard Wolk and John Landry since it talks about the most successful start-up companies.

This book showcases how political and economic systems affect incumbents and upstarts. Startups struggle for expansion, and several success stories of different companies are discussed in easy, understandable language. The author also provided several research citations, which makes the book authentic.

It sounds like this book will be good for people who love business and entrepreneurship. Unfortunately, I am not one of them. It will be a good knowledge to obtain though.
