I have only sampled this book, but I agree with you. It should be read by everyone. The author has picked a subject that is so important to the continued well-being of a country. Our kids are being influenced by "influences" on the Internet. They are told what clothes they should wear and what make-up to buy. It is creating a society of followers. When I went to school, there were leadership classes. "Be the Weight Behind the Spear" sounds like a book that should be required reading in schools.

The review alone is already inspiring
Just imagining how the author believes so much in empowering the future generation the future least with tools that will set them on good ground, this book is a must read for me.

From the preview its a good one,but the question is how practical can this be in Today's America? The Authors perspective is unique and it indulges. But at the end of the constraints would always come up to hinder such leadership vision, and we danm well keep suggesting solutions!

Every time I hear about a leader's journey, I am motivated. Leaders are responsible and resourceful. I believe this book will assist me in developing my leadership skills as well; it undoubtedly fulfills the purpose of a self-help book.

America is polarized right now. A book such as this may be just what American people need to read. That way they can make personal and informed decisions about their future.

There seems to be a scarcity of responsible leaders in the present world, especially in America, and the author of this nonfiction book thinks and offers tools that help young ones become responsible leaders.

Be the Weight Behind the Spear by Josh McConkey except was a book I might have overlooked had I not taken the time to read several passages. I admire the authors view on leadership. You can love your country and not be divisive.

It is clear that we are all ALL IN to growing future leaders. We need leaders taking charge in our government today so that there will be a United States of America for the next generation when they reach that age. I read the Amazon sample pages and would have just skipped over the selection had it not been for this assignment.

The book focuses on hoe the world is not properly building future leaders and is instead failing them. The author describes ways on how to fix it in America. While the book looks interesting, I think I may skip it for now. Thank you for your review!

Wow! I can only read acclaims for the book.
It must have truly inspired the reviewer greatly because I'm equally sold out on reading it.
I understand that "Be the Weight Behind the Spear" by Josh McConkey is a book that highlights America's leadership and how to cultivate a better America through responsible future leadership. He emphasised the need to teach the young ones and arm them with successful leadership tools for the future.

It sounds like a good book for people interested in American history and possible future. It however not something that interest me, so I'll give it a skip. Thanks for a detailed review. Congrats on BOTD.

Thank you for your detailed review. I'm so glad that you enjoyed it that much and it was edited exceptionally. It is wonderful to hear that someone is so passionate and proud of the United States. Sadly, we haven't seen that near enough for me in recent years. I hope it comes back and the youth of today make us all proud with a fantastic future.
