"Roan" by E. R. Barr. An interesting book, talks about Conor, who saw his mother in a state of death. His mother told him to go back to his hometown Tinker’s Grove. There Conor faced his challenges, he realized who he is the more, his abilities and background. This book is mystery, legendary and mythical. Congrats on your #BOTD.

Fantastic Review! I sampled the episode of Walter reminiscing about his late adoptive mother, Grandma Swift Deer, and I enjoyed the atmospheric and mysterious setting. From your review, I feel that there are many more characters to meet, especially Connor, and a lot of mystery and standoff between good and evil to enjoy!

Fantasy!!! Amazing thing to get to enter new world. So far this different than most of the other fantasy fiction I have read. And why do authors put so much burden on the shoulders of a child. Give him a authority figure to help. I almost feel bad for the boy.

What a sci-fi with Conor that becomes a character that every reader cheers. Conor represents good and has to fight evil to preserve the love he develops for this place that he only visits after his mother's death.

I cannot pick a certain part of the review and comment on it, as the whole thing was quite Intrigueing and fascinating. From Walter Johnson's death-defying escape from the gruesome river demon named Piasa, to Conor Archer's biker attack and prophecy speaker to the stories of good vs evil, the reviewer had me hooked. Thank you for an exceptional review.

A new take on the chosen one story? The supernatural element feels fresh. Seems like audiobook might be good way consuming this book. Good narrator can really elevate a story.
