I grew up in Dublin yes but later on I moved to Australia (I was 6, 7 or 8.)

Wow! I didn't realize I was talking to people from so many different places. This is awesome!

I'm from San Antonio, Texas, and I love it here because although the summers are very hot (90-100 degrees), the rest of the year is very temperate. I have a hard time with the cold, so I am in the right place.

But my family has taken several road trips over the past years, and I must say that so far my favorite place in the US is Durango, Colorado!

Maybe one day we'll get to travel abroad. I've only been out of the states a few times--mostly to Mexico, but once, for two years, the Philippines. I loved the weather there, too, except for the typhoons.

I'm from Southern New Jersey - near the beach. I emphasize Southern because it is very different from the very congested, "New York-like" northern part of our state. Southern New Jersey is much more rural, with small towns and farms, as well as the beaches and boardwalks. The biggest thing we have in Southern NJ is Atlantic City (casino gambling). But, being a local, I hardly ever go there unless it is to see a show.

What part of Finland are you from? My grandparents and other relatives are from Bromarv Finland way in the south. I've never had the privilege of going there but my parents and brother did. They loved it as it is so much more of a simple life than here in the States.
