I rate this book 4 out of 4 because everything was so well put together, the language, the story line, everything.

I loved it. This book shows that there is a God and you can overcome anything that comes your way. All you need is faith, support and a push.

I have been having some problems of my own and I felt like I wasn’t reaching anywhere in life. After reading this book I realized that my problems are small as compared to what other people go through.

I am so motivated to go and do great things for myself and stop feeling sorry for my downfalls.

The author had to deal with so many ups and downs and just like any human, at times he wasn’t at his best, but he pressed on with the belief that God was by his side.

In all honestly, when in my difficult times I would question God as to why these things happen to me or what’s the reasoning behind it. I wish I had as much trust and faith in the Almighty to move forward.

I mean, I do believe strongly in God but I often wonder why bad things happen to good people.

Clearly I have the wrong approach because after all these terrible things that the author had to go through he had one constant, God.

Life throws so many curve balls at us and sometimes we feel as though we didn’t deserve it out it should have happened to someone else but the thing is, we get what we put out. If we put out negativity that’s what we are gonna get back. If we do good, good is done to us. Sometimes all you have to do is take candy from a kid and you can loose you whole house or car. My point is, change is something we should all consider and we should train and support our children so they don’t suffer that faiths we do.

This author is his own hero and it’s something I aspire to be for myself. It’s something we should all aspire to be. Why wait for someone to save us, why wait for someone to rid us of our troubles. Let us be there for ourselves because if we are not, how can we expect people to be there for us.

I must say This was a great read. I love readying self help and real life books. It’s speaks wonders and shows that there are people that go through the same things as us but they did something about it. They didn’t 100 percent quit.

Wow, bad days are a normal occurrence but rising above them takes will power. Abandonment by a parent can be traumatic but I love that the author chose writing over silence because I am truly inspired by this story. Thanks for a beautiful review.
