Merry Xmas to all, hope you had a great day! It was pretty standard fare for me- socks, body spray, aftershave and several vouchers but all the nearest and dearest are happy and healthy and thats all I care about, I must be getting old as a few years ago it was all about the material things ha ha. I also got a 40euro voucher for The Book Centre so ill try and break my reading slumber in the New Year with a few reduced price books.

Has anyone been in the pub yet <has quick look> Nope. Oh well, the drink and snacks are there for the latecomers, Ill save my dance moves for the New Year. Enjoy the rest of the evening people. :D

Merry Christmas to all my Book Forum friends. We are into Boxing day now but still full from yesterday. Roast lamb and mint sauce .....so good. No book vouchers for me, but I preempted this situation by picking up some Christmas reading before hand :D Always good to be prepared.
Hope all are happy and safe...... and I'll see in the pub.... soon.

Sorry for being late (I didn't notice the thread :? )
I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year :D
May your wishes come true in every fields (love, luck, work, health...)

I'll spent Xmas cooking for my fiancé with our kitty cats. We gave them a little piece of the poultry and of the salmon (it was Xmas after all). :D

Howdy there Fran. :D I have been "doing up" one of our rental properties. We hope to sell it in the new year. The problem is that it is on the coast about 90 minutes drive from our house. Some nights I have been crashing there for the night rather than drive all the way home. I have painted it inside and out, installed a new hot water system, two air conditioners and a dishwasher(all with the help of sparkies of course). Hades has been helping out when she has the time and I must admit that it has become quite enjoyable(however still a mile of work). When I do get five minutes to read, I have been reading "Les Miserables". Fantastic book. :D

Glad that you like the new avatar. :D

Howdy SKM, Happy New Year. :D Could you please put my name down with a question mark. The time zones always confuse me, but I think that we will celebrate NY first. By the time you are all in the pub, I will probably be sleeping off a massive hangover. I will try my best to make it though. :D
