Ok, I read a new book called "The Secrets of Rosa Lee" By Jodi Thomas. If anyone has read it, please notify me because I really want to talk about it with someone! For anyone who hasn't read it, it really is an amazing book and you should try reading it. For more info. on Jodi Thomas, go to her website and you will find tons of cool information about her, her books, awards she's won, and so much more! I've just found this website so I'm also kind of confused. If someone could help me out a little (just with posting and stuff like that), that would be great!
Read with a smile! :-)

Welcome!

Tell us a bit about the book you've just read. Why did you like it? Have you read anything else by that author?

Don't be shy, just post anywhere!

This book is about this committee group the mayor of a small town organizes. The group is arranged to decide what they are going to do with an old house full of mysteries that most people claim is haunted. A mysterious group of people perform a series of crimes to the committee group such as throwing a drill bit through the window during one of their meetings, giving group members threatening notes, and beating one of the committee members and burying him. It is a lot less scary than I'm making it seem and it's actually more of a romance novel than anything else. While deciding what happens to the house, people are pulled together like never before and a series of relationships occur. It's amazing and I really loved reading it. Thanks for helping, by the way! I really think you should read it. The author, Jodi Thomas, also wrights some other books that I haven't read yet but look good. I'm thinking of picking up Twisted Creek by her and it came out recently and looks really good.

Ok, I'm back. I started this thread, like, a while ago and kind of forgot about it. Now I remember it so I'm going to try and continue it. If anyone has a good book that they've read, post it here. I'll probably have read it but if I havn't, I'll read it then. It can be by any author about pretty much anything but I will say that what has to be my least favorite types of books is probably horror stories. After you post the book, we can talk about it and see if anyone else who has read the story wants to join the conversation.
Always read with a smile! :D
