Review by JohnKasha -- Selling with Presence
Selling With Presence by Reggie Pearse.
It is a book that gives insights on good selling techniques. The author has given several ways of making a good selling presence. Reggie has explained that belief and passion should be the driving force for any successful sale. She has also emphasized on good idea presentation and information search on products and buyers. She has also explained that problem-solving and conflict resolution with buyers is key in any business.
She has also given the idea of discipline in prospectus approach in a person's line of duty as a key selling virtue. One should also have the determination and some bit of luck to succeed in selling. She has also gone ahead to say that high sales presence makes one an achiever in his or her prospects. She has also given the obstacles to the falling presence and the ways of how to improve on the presence. She has also offered detailed exercises to improve a person's presence and explained why personal branding is the key to success. She has also suggested the use of social media in sales and how to maintain a presence on the platform. She suggests that being the difference is key.
The authors' presentation of her ideas on good sales practices is chronologically arranged in seven chapters. This makes it easy for the reader to follow through. Reggie, also, has used a very simple language that is understandable to the reader who is younger or older. This makes it easy for young adults in high school or college to make use of this book in their quest to venture into business in the future. Additionally, I was impressed by the authors' mastery of the business world and the insights and values given in the book are enough testimony.
The author had a good flow of ideas that were well researched on. I did not find any grammatical or typographical errors. This made it easy to read through this page-turner. I liked how the author started with an introduction of what the book is about. The ending, also, was well wrapped up with endnotes that help the reader to engage himself or herself into further reading.
Generally, I was fascinated by everything in the book. There was nothing I disliked about this book. It was also professionally edited with no errors found. I give the book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. Since the author used a very simple language in presenting her ideas, I would recommend this book to young adults and the old. Anyone who loves to read books that offer advice on how to improve their businesses should gladly give this book a priority.
