I loved it!

This was a fun, flirty book. I dubbed it my bath book, because that’s where I savoured the words, until the water went freezing and there was no hot water left. I loved the storyline and the characters.

You get the dark and brooding Josh Faraday, a reporter always out to uncover the truth. He is charming and funny, witty and well, he IS sex-on-legs. He has a way with words, and he won me over a few times.
Then you get the domestic goddess. I likened her to Martha Stewart, but that’s only to the public eye. She is a complete klutz at almost everything she does. But she is also headstrong, warm, soft and one of the kindest characters I have read in a while.

The familial aspect the story was written in was perfect and so realistic. The jokes between mother and daughter, the affection with which they handle each other, is the ultimate mother-daughter relationship. I loved that she and her sister can take shots at each other, but still appreciate each other and willingly spend time together.

The way the characters grew and changed, just made this all the more worth my while. Tess is the perfect match for Josh. The electricity and chemistry between them in the few steamy scenes had me gasping for air.
This is a nice, light and easy read. You can lose yourself in the story and relax and put your mind at rest.
