The book 'What's your favorite color?' by Amber L. Lassiter is a beautifully illustrated children's book. Amber is excited to go to school. The teacher had told them they would be doing a painting that day. They had to use their favourite color in the painting but not reveal it to anyone until the end of the day. Unfortunately for Amber, she has forgotten to bring her paint. So she decides to borrow it from her classmates but she must do this without revealing her favourite colour. The story describes what happens when she tries to accomplish this.

The book is bright with beautiful illustrations and depictions. The language is simple and easy to read, which will appeal to children who are just beginning to read on their own. The book also focuses on feelings and emotions. These have been conveyed clearly using pictures. This will help children develop empathy and compassion. The conversations between Amber and her classmates are simple and realistic.

I liked that the book gave vivid descriptions and it also had questions at the end of every page. These questions promote thinking and understanding. It also encourages children to reflect on the topics presented.

The book was well edited with no errors. There wasn't anything about the book I particularly disliked.

Overall, I would rate the book 'What's your favorite color?', four out of four stars because of the pictures and the writing style. The story is also good and has a nice twist towards the end which will capture the attention and interest of children. The book will appeal to children between the ages of 1 and 5. It will be especially helpful to children who are learning colors. It will make the process fun and interactive. It will also help in cultivating a reading habit among young children.
