Good Omens by Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaiman

Post by kmthomas10 »

I have to start by saying, I have no idea why I haven't read this book before now. I've always been a huge Gaiman fan and somehow this book did not show up on my radar until a few weeks ago, and boy was I missing out! Good Omens was hilarious, clever, well-written, and addictive. Every time I had to put it down I couldn't wait to be able to pick it back up again, and I think that in itself is enough to say it's an excellent book, but of course there is much more to it than that.
The story was an original twist on an old hat. The characters were fascinating and likable, even when they weren't. I loved the way the characters were wound together and the way their stories overlapped and intertwined. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes stories with multiple character arcs, slightly dark humor, sci-fi elements, good vs. evil, and are fans of either author's other works.

I've read this book at least 3 times. I roar every time and I find something new in there each time. I have recommended Good Omens so many times I've lost count.
