This book follows the life of the Rattlesnake Lawyer Jonathan Miller as he gives us a humorous and in depth story of his life’s journey starting with his acceptance into to law school, then his years in law school, followed by his struggle to find a job once he graduated and then his career up’s and downs he faced during his years as a lawyer practicing criminal law and his time writing. He also gives us stories of his search for love with all the disasters along the way.

This book is a non-fiction / true life story as Jonathan Millers mentions in his own words that although things might have been altered all the events and his emotions mentioned in the book are real, just the dates and details might be different.

The author has a good writing style that made it easy to follow along with the story. He made the story interesting, by adding humor and great description of the events and adventures he experienced. I enjoyed the way he went into detail and told the reader about his failures as well as his successes. I also enjoyed how he put his emotions into the book and he was not afraid to dish out his embarrassing stories whether it was part of a case or part of his love life. He wrote the book in such a way that you felt like you were part of all his experiences.

I enjoyed this book thoroughly and it kept me in stitches of laughter, the humor and detailed descriptions were a great add on to the book. I love the way he described the people he met, he always had a great description available for all of them. The stories all flowed into each other and the way the book was written left you in no doubt of what was happening in the story line. I had a hard time putting the book down as I was really interested in where his life takes him and how his story ends. I look forward to the second book in the series as I would love to find out the rest of Jonathan Millers story.

I would recommend this book as a must read, especially for those that are either studying to be a lawyer or are practicing as a lawyer as they will appreciate the story much more. I give this book a rating of 3 out of 4 stars.
