You have to read this book. Demon Freaks by J.R.R.R. (Jim) Hardison is an amazing horror-thriller novel that will keep you entranced.

Bing Slaughter thought the worst thing was not being prepared for the SAT exams. Until his weird history teacher came to attack him, his twin brother(Ron) and their friend(Meat) with a dagger. From that moment onwards, it was nothing but madness. Meat was possessed by a dagger, servants of dark attacked them, the golfers tried to kill them and the worst of all, their friends were to be sacrificed to summon the demon himself.

I love everything about the book. The author had done an excellent job of writing it. I could talk about this book all day and night. It's one of those books which you'll never forget. The book was written in almost all the characters' perspectives, prodding us to think from all angles. Each character was unique, and the twists and turns were unexpectedly awesome. My favorite aspect is the humor the author maintained throughout the plot. There isn't anything I dislike about the book.

The interesting fact about this book is that the plot took place in just a matter of hours. There was action and thrill from the very first beginning to the end. Bing, Ron, and Meat were trying to study for the SAT exam, which was to happen the very next day when their crazy teacher tried to attack them. I was so hooked on the plot that I didn't realize anything that was happening around me. The author's choice of characters was perfect, and that was one of the main reasons why the plot was humorous and engaging.

Bing and Ron were total opposites who thought the other was better. Bing was more of the studious and cautious type while Ron was more outgoing and daring. Both of them had challenges to face during their efforts to save their friends. Under the dangerous circumstances they underwent, they got to know each better and became closer than ever. They realized how important their presence is in each other's lives. Besides all the action, surprises, and humor, I am glad that the author emphasized the bond the brothers developed.

I rate Demon Freaks by J.R.R.R. (Jim) Hardison four out of four stars. It was extremely entertaining and it is suitable for all, especially teens. The book is well-edited, as I couldn't find any mistakes. There is only minor profanity, and no erotic scenes were included in the plot. I would say this book has it all and it would be one of the greatest mistakes in your life to not read this book.
