How To Be Successful by M. Curtis McCoy is a book that focuses on the secrets of living a successful life. This book combines a series of genuine stories and interviews with successful individuals as well as strategies to help propel your success. This book will aid you to take control of your habits and will empower you to reach for growth and progress.

This book was well structured and had a focus on becoming more successful in one’s life. The author has crafted a well-written piece complete with tips and strategies which can be applied easily. The thing that I liked most about the book was the myriad of strategies included throughout the book on subjects such as making friends, and on leadership in business. In other words, How To Be Successful by M. Curtis McCoy is a book that touches many topics.

I also liked that the author had included real-life examples of success throughout the book, with interviews with various individuals from different backgrounds. As a result of this differentiating idea of success, the reader is not only acquiring knowledge from the author but from many others as well.

All while this book incorporated many likable features, I did find one feature that I didn’t necessarily like. The thing I disliked most about this book was the use of the bible throughout. As an atheist, I think that the book could have been created for a broader audience if there were fewer biblical references. I’m specifically stating this point because I can see this book growing in popularity, and it would reach more individuals without a biblical focus.

This book was exceptionally edited, and I recognized no grammatical errors whilst reading the book. It was a well thought out read which was gripping. Furthermore, I also admired the writing style of the book, with the author having obviously taken the time to develop a perfectly constructed piece.

In terms of the interviews, I found myself disliking the lack of tips and tricks included within these sections. I wish that there were more specific tips included for the reader. Thus, as a result of all the pros and cons of this book, I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars.

I gave How To Be Successful by M. Curtis McCoy this rating because of its appealing nature, I also completed this book over a period of two days. This proves that this was an enjoyable read. However, whilst I decided not to rate this book 4 stars, because of the bible references included throughout. This meant that for me personally, I struggled to relate to many of the individuals interviewed. And being critical, I would have preferred the author write this book with a more non-biased view. Or that he interviewed some individuals with alternative views, proving success is available to many. I also did not rate this book 2 stars, because of the fascinating concepts included.

I recommend this book for people who enjoy reading self-help books, about success. Especially readers who believe in the bible and God.Overall, I congratulate M. Curtis McCoy on this spectacular read. He has created a book that will inspire many people.
