Review by The_Vivian -- Soul Seeker by Kaylin McFarren
The book Soul Seeker by Kaylin McFarren is a very powerful, thought-provoking, paranormal thriller novel with a lot of lessons to be learned. It is about a firefighter whose life was suddenly turned upside down after a fire incident which his son seemed to be involved in.
Benjamin Poe the captain of the fire fighters was visiting a friend when they heard a very loud noise and realized that a restaurant where his son worked was on fire. He and his team manage to get there on time to salvage the situation, even though three lives were lost in the incident. He however suspects that his son is responsible for the incident but is too scared to confront his son about it. Because of the fire, a new visitor comes to town, he is known as Crighton to Poe but to those in the world where he comes from, he is known as the best soul catcher for Lucifer his master. Oblivious of what and who Crighton really is, Poe is convinced that he can protect his evil son from the man who has come to claim his evil soul for his master. Will Poe succeed? What will be the outcome of his trial? Find out as you read Soul Seeker by Kaylin McFarren.
The author has really done a wonderful job with the exciting thriller. Now, it may not be a first of its kind, but it is definitely going to be one that keeps the readers glued till the end. There are also so many lessons to learn from the book and readers should endeavor to pick it up and read.
What I liked most about the book is the plot, I love that the author used his innovative skills to blow the mind of his readers away. I disliked nothing about this book as it was exceptionally flawless and easy to read.
I would gladly rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because, not only was it professionally edited, the author also did a good job with the structure of the book. I like the way it was divided as it helped for easy reading and a better understanding of the plot of the book.
I would love to recommend this book to readers who are into paranormal thriller and to those who love a good combination of suspense and flashback. This would be a good read for them. I however, will not recommend this book to children and young readers as I feel that it is not suitable for them.
