Interact with authors and 'roast' books

Hi everybody,

I started a team blog called "Book Roast," and we've had great fun hosting several authors (both 'big' name and 'small' name).

We have a roast at the end of every month (our schedule is going to expand in September because we're booked through January, and we want to give all authors a chance to be spotlighted).

It works like this: an author sends us an excerpt from one of their books, and we come up with 3 funny/silly questions. Participants will use their sense of humor and creativity to answer the questions. The one that tickles the author's funny bone receives a free, autographed copy of the author's book. It's all in good fun, and we do have a manners policy.

We accept all genres, but not self-pubbed or porn.

We will be teaming up with the children's book charity, Reach Out and Read, for the August roast.

I am posting this message here because at the moment, our readership is primarily authors, writers, agents, and publishers. We'd like to reach actual readers as well!!
