Official Review: Whirlwinds to Rainbow: The Story of Us
Mothers play essential roles in families, and it is pertinent to recognize their importance to us. In his children's book, Whirlwinds to Rainbow: The Story of Us, Mark Morrison wrote a heartwarming tribute to his wife. This book was a tale of how his wife fought for the interest of his kid, "The Rainbow Baby." They felt like starting a family, and soon in the tale, the wife gave birth to a boy. Though the journey was tough, readers will find out why her husband would have to write a tribute to her.
This excellent children's book was written in a poetic style. It revealed the stages of family development, which every kid should know. There's nothing as important as allowing children to understand how important motherhood is. I think the most important of it all is when the husband praises his wife in the presence of his kids.
What I considered positive in this book was that it taught a good lesson for raising children. I felt it was positive for children to remember the heroic nature of their mother. For example, from this book, we noticed how the child was taught to value his mother in the presence of his friends. On page one, the child was taught to say, "It was my mommy and her infinite love."
This book sounded very motivational and encouraging for kids. It was an excellent idea to communicate these values in children's hearts as they grow up. On page one, the father said, "You are born of that warrior, you can handle the scars."
Nothing appeared negative in this book. Every piece of information was adequately illustrated. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Since it was professionally edited, as one error was found, I rate it 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend it to those children who want to be reminded of the importance of motherhood and those mothers who need to know how important they are.
