Galen arrives in Voulhire after the death of his uncle and is received by his uncle's executor, Rowan, who is determined to teach him all the voulhirian ways, but does he have something up his sleeves? Voulhire is at its golden age with many of its cities being successful and prosperous. King Wilhelm is determined to spearhead the country to being successful and appoints lord Eldus to be the lord of Hillport following the death of the former lord, Meldorath, who was also a powerful mage but misused the power he had and became a threat to the people of Hillport creating fear and mistrust. The Riva Rohavi, a warrior group filled with hatred, is also reported to have gone silent and Midius Maido, the first knight of Voulhire, assures there's no need for alarm. Hillport starts to thrive economically but is the news about the powerful mage Meldorath's death true? Have the Riva Rohavi ceased to exist? Are lord Eldus's efforts to make Hillport a successful city going to thrive? Matthew Tsyz has professionally recorded this events in his book, We Are Voulhire:A New Arrival Under Great Skies, the first book in the We Are Voulhire series.

There were many things I loved about the book. Firstly, there's good presentation of the characters in the book. Their association to the book is well described in their first encounters with the plot. This goes hand in hand with the authors rich suspense which makes the author eager to read the characters later encounters and occurrences with the world of Voulhire which has been given life by the author's diction creating with nature to both the characters and the reader. Matthew Tsyz also emphasizes on the value hard work, team work, good leadership and other positive skills in the community.

Although I loved the good writing of the book, I would appreciate if the book had been given chapters for easier reference. The version of the book I downloaded was also had no number of pages giving me a hard time in noting some of the important aspects of the book.

I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I do not deduct a star after I mentioned the above negative aspects because they are very minor and they do not affect how interesting the book was. I also did not find any grammatical errors my reading of the book making me conclude that the book was professionally edited. This book has been well written for the first book in a series since it has done a good introduction of the story and offer better ideas for later books in the series.

I would recommend this book to lovers of adventure, magic and nonfiction above the age of 13 because the language used in the book is extensive and those under this age might struggle with getting the concept. People of all religions can be able to enjoy this book since it does not contain any phrases that might insult a person's belief in a particular religion but embraces and acknowledges everyones perspective.

I read this book too, while it didn't work out for me, I'm glad you enjoyed it. The only thing I loved about the book was, the banter between Galen and Rowan.
