Midwinter Turns to Spring by Maria Veloso is the first and only novel that comes with its own music soundtrack. It depicts on rich relationships amongst the characters and profound spiritual insights rarely found in a romantic drama. The book is perfect for readers who enjoy romantic plots with substance and profound relationship insights.

Alfonso Madrigàl,a flamenco guitarist from Malága in southern spain who migrated to Madrid and later to San Francisco because of different reasons some of which were painful memories from his childhood. He later meets Savannah Curtis at the University of San Francisco where he went to find out more about authenticating the painting of Pablo Picasso that his grandmother had left her when she died.

Savannah Curtis, an artist who expresses herself in her paintings. She has bitter memories of being left behind by her father and wants to be perfect in everything that she does because her father always expected the best from her.

I loved this book so much because the characters are described so well in that you get to understand the unique characteristics of each one of them and the spiritual part of it makes it more interesting especially the one of the daughter of Alfonso Madrigál who looks
at things that are made by God and not by man.

I give this book 4 out of 4 stars because it is professionally edited and has very few errors in it forexample in chapter 15,paragraph 23(As Alfonso sat himself next to her, Savannah noticed that Christina closed her eyes.... I think it was supposed to be a he that is Alfonso because I don't see how Savannah came into the picture at that moment and then chapter 13 of paragraph 19,the word is softly not softy. The book made me understand each one of the characters very well.
