Midwinter Turns To Spring written by Maria Veloso is a love story. However, it is not some average love story. It is about a girl named Savannah Curtis and a guy named Alfonso Madrigàl who falls in love with each other. Alfonso is a flamenco guitarist and is a native of Spain. Savannah is an art consultant and she is an artist herself. Well, the thing is Savannah is already engaged to be married and Alfonso is married and has a daughter. Alfonso meets Savannah to authenticate his painting which he had inherited from his grandmother. They hit an instant connection from the moment they met. They started meeting frequently which made them closer and closer to each other. Will they be able to confess their feelings? Will their relationship ever work out?

This story is full of ups and downs and it is very nostalgic. I liked the passion, the intensity which can be felt while reading. The way it has been written, everything seems to be realistic. This book teaches us how to forgive and how to love. As it is written in the book, "Love doesn't ask for a small part of yourself. It doesn't ask for a large part of yourself. It asks for everything you've got. And unless you're willing to give everything, you're never really in love." It teaches one what love is.

There is nothing in this book that I disliked. It's a perfect story. It portrays the idea of love in a different manner. It tells us what sacrifices are. The way Maria has describes things, it helps us to imagine a crystal clear image of the storyline.

This novel is for someone who is suffering from heartbreak or is emotionally healing themselves or those who are afraid to love. It is an interesting story so a mature audience would want to read it.

I would rate Midwinter Turns to Spring 4 out of 4 stars. I wouldn't rate it any lower as this book has a storyline that encourages us and gives us a message. It is perfect for its intended audience. The book contains almost no errors and is well edited.

Midwinter Turns to Spring is a great love story in every sense. The work done on this book is appreciable. I would recommend this book to a young audience as they are most likely to suffer from heartbreaks or are not brave enough to love. Adults would also enjoy it as the book speaks for itself.
