Review of What’s Forever For? A Physician’s Guide To Everlasting Love And Success In Marriage
What's forever for is an interesting , informative book on marriage written by George Naum , taking us through the realities of marriage, the problems that could arise and how to tackle them. It is saddening that the institution of marriage is no longer regarded and respected in today's world. The author tells us the importance of marriage to individuals and the moral health of the community. Three different marriages from three different generations were examined and used as a example to explain certain situations that occur within marriages and how to better address them. . I greatly enjoyed this , and at the end of reading this book, I learned a lot that changed my perspective on marriage and it's difficult moments. It requires sincere input from both parties to make it work. .
I also liked how well the author wrote this book. .He began by letting the readers know that he is a Christian Physician. The marriages he used to illustrate his points were all between male and female form of marriages, however he debunked and laid to rest any feeling of prejudice and discrimination that might be felt from other forms of interpersonal relationships like same sex marriages. He encourages all couples to use his material to better steer the tides of marriage in the real world. This book is real and devoid of fantasies.
My favorite aspect of this book is the presence of insightful questions for the reader to answer and reflect upon. Besides the lessons learnt from reading this carefully written book, I also liked the author's trust and strong belief in God and good Christian values.
All in all, I didn't find anything to dislike about this book. It seems to have been professionally edited and I sincerely didn't find any notable error. No presence of profanity and vulgar language. This is a masterpiece. I therefore rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
To those whose marriages are currently suffering, to those who aspire to have a better relationship with their partners and finally to those who wish to get married or be involved in a healthy romantic relationship, I highly recommend this. I also believe that anyone could read this book since we are involved one way or the other in interpersonal relationships whether romantically or not. On the other hand, the author makes references to the Bible and has incorporated some Bible verses. I believe nonreligious and open-minded readers from other religions can enjoy it as well without being affected by such.
