The Immortal Circus, should i continue to read it?

Post by JessiAnne26 »

Hello,

about two weeks ago I finished reading the immortal circus (not to be confused with the night circus which was a wonderful book) and I am debating on reading the follow up to the books. I liked the book enough, who doesn't like murder and mystery and magic and trying to figure out the good guys from the bad guys? I mean it was a lot of fun to read but i'm just getting so dreadfully tired of trilogies. Does anyone have any advice? does the trilogy close out nicely? Will I be left with memories of the characters stories or will it be as forgettable as the twilight series was? (not to say i didn't love the Twilight series, don't get me wrong, but i wouldn't re-read them, and when the movies were released so long after the books i didn't have as many implicit memories as my friends did who'd read the book just a short while before the movie(s) came out).
Input would be greatly appreciated here,

Thanks
wealth, Health and Love to all of you,

Jess

I haven't read Immortal Circus, but I can tell you what I do. After I finish the first book of a trilogy, I only read the next one if I can't get the first one out of my head. If I am still thinking about the characters and story days and weeks after reading the first book then I will definitely read the next one. If I forget about the story quickly, then I don't. If the trilogy is not yet finished, it gives me more time to forget, and I am less likely to continue the series.

So it sounds to me like you are still thinking about this book (enough for you to come and post a question about it two weeks after you finished the first book), so I would suggest that you go ahead and finish the series (or at least the next book).

hey jess! i know that you posted this a while back, so just wondering if you in fact actually did go through with reading the immortal circus? im pretty interested in the story line and i love the factors of magic and mystery and romance in it as explained in excerpts, sneak peaks, etc. but i dont have it at by local library, nor can i find it anywhere to download, so i was wondering if the book was worth it? and i mean worth it enough to go buy the book and own it for myself haha.. im so unsure of myself, lol so thanks!

Hello! I haven't read the second installment of the Immortal circus yet but i've put it on my library request list. I just love all books involving the supernatural and I am still curious. I will let you know as soon (estimated time is in about 3 weeks) as I read it and will put up another review. I feel like i've been so consumed with fun books i haven't had time to review them! haha, Thanks for your comments!!
