Review of Without Redemption
[Following is a volunteer review of "Without Redemption" by David Griffith.]
Lonnie who has a good and caring wife with his 6 month old son Conor, was hospitalized after breaking his arm from a Rodeo game accident. Not long after he was discharged from the hospital, was given a vacation to Costa Rica together with his wife Clarissa his son by Frederick, one of the top Intelligence Operatives in America.
But beside the vacation was a mission for him at Costa Rica which he never wanted doing becouse he know it would'nt be an easy task but after every aguement, he reluctantly accepted because his wife claims she deserves a good holiday at least a good time to spend together with her family.
Now Paolo a sicario, a hit man from the Sinaloa cartel, at age twelve was a begger in the streets port of Mazatlan. He graduated from being a begger to a theft, where he was cought And was threaten to work as a holcane if he wants to live, he has no choice than to accept. His work as a holcane, he never let his bosses down who were cocaine dealers, now he have enough to eat and wear. At age fifteen he was promoted. Off course as a holcane ur life is at risk. Now Paolo was trained to be a killer. He started working for El chapo.
After Lonnie and his family arrived at Costa Rica and gone through some fun time in the beach at the place they lodge, he had to go for his mission at San Carlos. According to Frederick, he is to collect a package from Chapo who is Paolo Boss. After collectig the package a misfortune happend an unknown blast happened, and he was suspected, he manage to escape from the place but was pursued by Chapo and his guard with Paolo leading them because he is skilled and trained, he was a good tracker.
Lonnie had to run to his family after he had escape from San Carlos to escape with his family, it was a tough time for him because he was still followed by Chapo and his cohort. They suffered several days in the jungle and merely escaped death. Paolo was eager to get rid of him, but after long suffering in the jungle with his family, they made it.
Without Redemption is really a book to read. Though when I start reading the book I wasn't getting it not untill I restarted again and I really enjoyed it. The writer David Griffith Really did well writing this book. What I like about the book is that you cant just predict it, so it gives you that momentum to want to read and the writer made descriptions of body language, the author also narrate how drug dealers lives their life and the obvious danger that accompanied such life. I really had a great time reading this book. I also enjoyed the characterization of the book, they all made the book more interesting.
I really didn't find anything disliking in this book Without Redemption. The story seems to be realistic according to my own opinion. This book seems to be prefessional edited Even though I discovered five errors, However the story line is really interesting and and void if offensive words and reading this was like I am watching an action movie.
In conclution, I rate this book; Without Redemption, 4 out of 4. Earlier I find it hard in understanding the book, but I had to start over after reading almost half and I discovered some point which I'd missed and that made me to understand the book and the characterization earlier I thought the author is narrating two different story not until I discovered he is just trying to unvail the background of the two major character Lonnie and Paolo
This book is interesting, void of offensive word, however for better understanding I recommend this book to adult and young adult becouse the book is full of high level English and seems not to be appregendable by average English person(s) without a matured mind you wont understand the book easily.
