All Zoë wants is to be an ordinary girl with an ordinary life. But the gods have a different plan for her. Working for the police force as a clairvoyant has its ups and downs. On the upside, she can help solve the overwhelming cold cases while practicing her craft in secrecy. But the downside is she must work with skeptics and non-believers. For example, Zoë will join the precinct’s two newest detectives, Parsons and Sully for this murder case. Can the three of them solve this case without jeopardizing it with mistrust and skepticism? Can Zoë brave all the odds against her and answer the cry of the murdered victims? Can Zoë continue living as a lone witch when her safety and privacy are now on the line? Can she discover love amidst the uncertainty of the world?

Zoë Delante Thriller Boxed Set contains the first three published books of the series. The series offers romance, mystery, suspense, action, and paranormal thriller. CL Roberts-Huth will transport the readers to a world where all things are possible. Written in Zoë’s perspective, readers will have a first-hand experience of her every adventure.

Reading the book was a breeze. I found myself reading Whispers of the Dead (Book 1) nonstop and had to tear myself away for a few hours so I can rest my eyes and my pounding heart. The same goes for Whispers of the Serpent (Book 2). I barely put it down. Whispers of the Sidhe (Book 3) is a little different because it was lengthier than the first two books. I am amazed at how unpredictable Zoë is as a protagonist. Like any protagonist, she was persistent, but there are times that she will say or do something out of the blue giving her character more layers. The author showered the cast with skeptics, pushovers, fanatics, meddlers, and other colorful personalities.

What I like most about this book is how descriptive the author is. I can easily picture the scenes in my mind. I was there for every gory and intimate scene. I am unfamiliar with the Wiccan belief, but the author convinced me of the authenticity of Zoë’s craft. Every area of the story worked perfectly with each other.

In addition, there’s nothing to dislike about it. I only found one minor error making me believe it was edited by a professional. I even like how each book ended. There were cliffhangers like in any series. But it merely stimulated my desire to read the next book without the frustrating feeling some series gives. Each book can stand on its own. You can read the books interchangeably without spoiling the mystery of the other books. But why would you if you have the box set?

In summary, I wholeheartedly give a rating of four out of four stars to Zoë Delante Thriller Boxed Set by CL Roberts-Huth. I highly recommend it to readers who are looking for a new series to follow in this genre. Because of the theme of murder and some sexual content, only mature readers are encouraged to read this.
