Hello, my love is Elise and Greg's simple yet beautiful love story. Elise is a law student and has no plans whatsoever to fall in love. On the other hand, Greg is a playboy millionaire reluctantly taking the next step of his life because of his father’s will. They meet in a coincidental situation and Elise is repelled by Greg’s typical playboy personality and charming looks. But to Greg’s surprise, he is rather attracted to Elise’s wittiness and golden locks. It’s a love story of them coming together or falling apart with different paths. With all that lays ahead in front of them, what is most difficult for them is confronting each other’s feelings and taking the path that leads to their coming together.

What makes this book different from others is the way the author Evy Journey has expressed the deep-felt emotions of both the characters. The author has taken her sweet time in the development of the main characters. While reading a book, I am always curious about the different points of view of the main characters, which I got the bliss of reading in Evy Journey’s book Hello, my love. The part I liked the most about this book is the expressions used to describe emotions. There were moments in the book where the lead characters felt intense emotions, whether it was agony or undeniable love, the author has taken every emotion into thoughtful consideration, and not even once have I failed to associate with their feelings.

Romance being my favorite genre, I am always on the lookout for something new in it. The book didn’t exactly meet that expectation of mine. The plot was expected to be something more and different from the usual cliché. Like any other love story, the main characters experience happy and sad moments.

Though the plot of the book is the same old cliché of a playboy millionaire and an intellectual nerdy girl, I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars. Because I especially liked the vivid description of the surroundings, allowing me to graphically imagine every scene. Also how skillfully the author made me feel every emotion. The moment of vexation and sadness in Elise's life was described so profoundly, I could empathize with her every moment.

I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a light one-time read. The writing style of this book gives comfort, allowing us to believe in love. If you want a break from a hectic life, this book is for you. It is a quick read with a meaningful love story.
