Black soul eater is the 3rd book from the legacies of monster series written by bryan nyaude. Our protagonist in the story, rave, is a monstrous assassin, who is immortal. Rave is on a journey to recover his lost soul. To do so, he needs to get his hands on a legendary book that is said to have great power and possess the knowledge of all things. If anything could help him, it is that book. On his journey, he has to fight and survive against various creatures like ghouls, sea monsters, witches, and shapeshifters. But in the end, he is forced to choose, to either abandon his soul for his only chance at happiness or leave it all to get his old, miserable life back. What will he choose?

This book is greatly written from a first-person point of view. The description of the surroundings, the monsters, and the people were so easy to visualize.

If it wasn’t for the grammatical errors, I would have given this book the utmost rating, I, therefore, rate this 3 out of 4 stars.

if you are not a fan of horror and gory stuff, I won’t recommend you to read this book. This book is also not suited for young kids due to the amount of violence in it. I recommend this book to fantasy readers particularly those who like horror.
