In 1970's San Francisco is global hub of culture. Also known for hippies and radicals. Tales of seventies by D.Done is collection of short stories and a novella. In each story writer has showed the different view of the city through eyes of different characters. In the decade everyone described as cool and before all this technology came into view, one would assume life would be simple, But as the author described daily life you'll find each time has it's own struggles. In these stories he touched different types of characters and emotions so you can see the city through the eyes of person who's in love, a homeless person, a charity manager, a thief, an attention seeking person, a person who went on and life changing adventure, a drunk, a person who thinks drugs lift the barriers of brain to increase its thinking capacity.

I liked this book because its a complete experience. It takes you back in time with it's tone and phase matching the time they are trying to recreate. Author did not shy away to write the ugly truth and how judgmental people can be. In every way you can get true 70's experience from this book. You have to appreciate the writers attempts to reduce the profanity in more than one case.

This book will definitely take you back in time. But here are some low points of this book, as the tone is slow it did not hold my interest in starting but once you get into the story it will keep you going, But these are short stories and you have to start quit a lot of stories without any particular interest. Its multi point view story its fine fore some of the stories as it has few characters but in few other stories there are far too many characters to make it smooth, so in places it seemed a little bumpy.

I rate it 2 out of 4 stars its well edited only a few mistakes, none that stops the story progression. If you want to know the story despite the slow phase, it can be quite a experience to get a peek into seventies life style. It contains profanity and sexual content.
