Money Faucet by Joe Calderwood
On long hot summer days when the sun even won’t let you see out, passing time seems difficult. Life feels slow, boring, and dull.IN this situation a good book is a cure for all these problems. A good book can be the best companion. A good thriller will surely add much-needed color and excitement to your boring life. Just like I experienced this fantastic book Money faucet. This is a great book. It shows that the author knows very well that what he is doing. A good plot and easy flow in the whole book are what captures the reader’s attention.
Money faucet by Joe Calderwood is an exciting book. Interesting series of incidents that revolve around the main character Clint Kennedy. From the very first page, a murder scene captures the reader‘s interest till the end. A murder that happened on 31 October 2009 and how then gradually events reveal and all links get joined in the end. Like every good thriller, this book contains the right amount of thrill and suspense.
The author portrays a very interesting character, Clint Kennedy is an ex escort agency owner, a money launderer, and a philanthropist. He is a criminal. He makes his living performing illegal acts. He transfers approximately eight million dollars to an American bank. He is filthy rich. He lives in Mexico’s white city. He runs a school The Aj Tz’ib Academy there. He lives in his own personal heaven. On 23 October he received a call from his best friend jack who informed him about his own father’s stroke. Since Jack‘s parents are like real parents for Clint, he wasted no time and borrowed a plane from his drug lord friend and came to emotionally support his surrogated family.
After reaching Miami and making sure that his father was ok, He was informed that his previous escort has died in an accident and he is the guardian of his old grandfather. Meanwhile, all this happening, something big is happening south of the border, and Pablo did not want him in town. Clint soon discovers why. A bloody inter-cartel war has broken out, and cartel bosses are dropping like flies. He is worrying about Pablo and unsure about his own business and future. When while he is facing all these problems, a dirty lawyer is trying to steal the guardianship from him for his nefarious gain. Facing all these and the final nail in the coffin proved to be his presence at a crime scene. Of course, he ran away from but who knows what will happens next.
I really appreciate how Clint‘s character is created. Usually, the main characters like these books do not seem like a human with normal emotions. Sometimes they just feel like killing machines, but while you are reading about all his wrongdoing, the writer makes it impossible to hate Clint’s character. You will feel sympathy for him for his losses and be happy when he is happy. He is a loyal friend and a devoted son.
The negative point of this book is that you should read the first book 1 in this series. Otherwise, it will be a bit hard to understand all characters. I will advise that if you want to read it, you must read book 1 first. Overall this is a good book. This book is worth your time.
This book is really fantastically edited. I will give this book 4 out of 4 stars. The writer does a really good job.it does not feel like that you are reading some new writer. He definitely has a good pen grip. I will recommend this book for people who are interesting in fast pacing thrillers. This book is not for kids.
