A story based on resentment, distrust, pride, lies, love, hate and ignorance in the right mix required to give the reader a vivid imagination of the events. Excellent choice of words and a detailed description makes the book worthy of been read by both those with interests in fantasy novels and those without.
the stolen heir. shows how far a person can go in order to obtain power, respect, fame and wealth. Love and hate are the strongest forces on earth but it is up to a person to decide what path to follow, the book entails this feeling of love and hate been intertwined.
The issue of the upper class and the lower class has been an problem since ages. Arguments have been made on whether the world will be a better place if there was equality and no difference in class or if it would not. The author brings out this topic coupled with inferiority which leads resentment towards those who are superior leading to chaos and carnage.
The author shows the difference between a life lived in opulence and a life lived in poverty through the life of the protagonist Erik. The clear description of the life been lived by war survivors is shown in this book. The thrill, twists and suspense in this book are enough to make you lose your night rest for a week keeping your eyes glued to the book.
A must read for those looking for a book rich in thrills and twists. I rate this book 3 out of 4.
