Knowledge is power!

Have you ever read a book that made you realize that there's so much information out there, but only reading a book could help you gain the knowledge? If yes, then Manifesto for a Cancer Patient by Colleen Huber, NMD, is the book.

The book was thought-provoking. It widened my cancer knowledge and made me discover the things happening behind the scenes in the healthcare industry. It also touches mostly on patient advocacy, talks about cancer and other available alternative cancer treatments.

The author is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor, so she takes us through her experience treating patients who have been diagnosed with cancer. She also details what usually happens after one is diagnosed with cancer and the politics behind cancer in the healthcare industry. This is just a tiny bit of it, so you will have to read to find out more because there's so much that she talks about in the book.

I would say that the book got fascinating when the author mentioned that she is being pressured not to reveal some details, which she still reveals to us. I admired that courage! She mentions things and cancer stories that helped me to connect the dots on some things, finally.

If you thought the world was a better place, the book would make you rethink. This is because, when reading, I kept wondering, what have human beings become? But, fortunately, I felt at peace because I was glad people like Colleen Huber still exist. So, maybe there's a chance that the world could be a better place in the future! She is ready and willing to do what it takes to help cancer patients because she still stands strong with the oath that she took when graduating as a doctor.

The book was very educative. I learned how cancer manifests in the body, I learned the different types of cancer treatments, and I got to understand the primary role of sugar in our body and the role it may be playing in the cancer cells. So, right now, I believe I am at a better place because there is just so much knowledge that I gained from the book.

The book was exceptionally edited and very informative. Therefore, I rate the Manifesto for a Cancer Patient by Colleen Huber, NMD, 4 out of 4 stars. There was nothing that I didn’t love about the book. At some point, I even felt like gifting the book to others to read because it felt like the perfect gift!

In conclusion, I recommend this book to all readers, and I am looking forward to reading more books from this author.
