EMP Honeymoon by Dorothy Mercer is a book about a couple who are in their honeymoon. The couple are Kelly and Tom Turbulo. The couple goes for a honeymoon vacation in Honduras. Their vacation is cut short when they come upon terrorist. They now change their focus from enjoyment to trying to find more about terrorist plans.

The book gets to the point of action from the beginning. The book is a bit interesting as it has humor. The author keeps the reader focused and causes the feelings in a reader of wanting to know more. The author does not give a reader chance of finding out how a problem was solved. The book does also not give details of what fully happens in the next scene. The author also keeps up with the fast pace which makes the reader to feel rushed. The flow is nice but it has short details. This is what made the book to be shorter .

In the process of the action, the author tries to compare the story with what happens in daily life. This makes a reader to feel more at home and also realistic. It also makes the reader to feel the characters alive. The book is easy to understand and follow as it lacks deep and much details. The author though uses a third person perspective which makes the reader to forget the storyline for a second.

What I enjoyed the most is how the terrorist tried to act smart. They wanted not to be discovered though their behavior betrays them.

The book does not have graphic and profanity in it. It is however hilarious and it can be a good therapy to boredom. The is easy to understand and also to read. I recommend the book to readers who do not like complicated story lines. And as it lacks erotic scene, I recommend it to any reader especially ones who enjoy some action parts.

The book is well written and it has no errors. I therefore give the book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.
