Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer !SPOILERS!

Post by alex_ »

Has anyone read any of the Artemis Fowl books?
Because I think they are amazing!!!!
And unfortunately I haven't found anyone that has also read it, so this will be a space to: talk about our favorite parts, why we like it, and what we have learned from it.
I'll start:

So my favorite part is the Artemis and Butler relationship. The way they care about each other is true friendship. Even though it's more Butler tries to take care of Artemis, they both care about each other. I like it because it's refreshing, it's not about romance but about adventure and seeking the truth. Artemis is fearless and his huge ego has a lot to do with that. But I like that he's not afraid to say what is on his mind. I learned that there is more than meets the eye, and by that I mean, Artemis discovers fairies on earth, but everyone else think they live in a world where such things like fairies don't exist. I guess what I'm trying to say is that maybe by looking deeply at things, people, or ideas, you might see more than the surface, but only a curious and persistent mind will see something more than what it is.
